Services for advisers

Raising equity for local SMEs, Investbx incorporates a stock market for West Midlands based companies.

Working in partnership

International Convention Centre

Investbx provides a finance raising service for you to offer your new and existing SME clients.  Complementing your existing services to them, Investbx helps to finance smaller enterprises seeking growth, either organically or by acquisition.

We do not offer advice to clients on raising capital, and are happy to work with professional advisers. Indeed, we are great advocates of the importance of a strong relationship between client and adviser.

Our services:

Any firm which advises either investors or companies in one capacity or another, can get involved in Investbx. More specifically, we believe that Investbx will be of most interest to:

  • Lawyers,
  • Accountants,
  • Financial Advisers, and
  • Corporate Financiers.

Do you have client companies?
Are any of them seeking capital to grow their business?  Would you like to add capital raising and a secondary market for shares to the services you can offer companies?  Would you like to generate new revenue streams and expand your core competencies, differentiating yourself from the competition?

Do you have client investors?
Are any of them interested in investing in small and medium sized companies?  Would they like to diversify their risk across a different asset class?  Would you like to generate new revenue streams and expand your service offering, differentiating yourself from the competition?

Do I have to be regulated to refer clients to you?
No, although you must be aware of the restrictions applying to advising private investors on making equity investments.  As a company adviser, you will need to be authorised in accordance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to issue or approve company announcements.  Furthermore, Investbx can only pay intermediary incentives to regulated entities.

How will Investbx benefit your clients?
Whilst gaining a competitive advantage through offering your clients access to an exciting new service is important, here at Investbx, we appreciate that the ability to generate new revenue streams is equally significant.
